Jay

Jays are one of Gemma's favourite birds to spot when she is out and about with the dogs, you often have to be quick to spot them as they dart behind branches, a flash of their lovely blue feathers gives them away. A member of the crow family, jays are extremely intelligent and can learn to imitate noises around them. 

Gemma Marie Blakely is a Fine Art Painter from Castlewellan, County Down. After studying her craft in both Aberystwyth and Ulster Universities, she now working her home studio creating original paintings and archival quality giclée prints. All stages(from painting to prints) are completed in her home studio and prints are sealed in bio-degradable packaging, ensuring the work is as environmentally friendly as possible.
