'This joyful piece is a celebration of nature’s textures and colours at their brightest. Inspired by golden fields in full bloom and the rolling hills beyond, this artwork is stitched with layers of gorgeous linen and cottons, free motion embroidery and hand-stitched detail, creating a richly tactile experience.
I used bold yellows, soft greens, and bursts of red to evoke the sense of walking through a summer meadow — buzzing with life. French knots bring the wildflowers to life, while tiny ladybirds (stitched and buttoned) peek out from the undergrowth, inviting a closer look. This piece is full of movement, detail, and joy — and it’s now available through Painted Earth. '
