A lovely little reminder of sunny days on the beach ….
A beautiful, hand crafted stained glass heart sun-catcher in beach colours of sea/sand/sky. Each piece of glass is individually cut by hand, shaped, wrapped in copper foil, then soldered together. It is then cleaned, a dark patina added before a final polish. A little faceted glass star prism enhances the heart and gives added sparkle! The coloured glass is carefully selected - the yellow for the texture of the sand, turquoise & blues for the reflective sparkle of the sea and an unusual marbled sky blue.
It is approximately 11cm x 11cm (4”x 4”)and weighs about 70 gms. The heart has a ribbon to hang which can be adjusted to the right length. It looks especially beautiful in front of a sunny window. A perfect gift for any occasion.
