The Mourne Mountains

John O’Flaherty - Lynch b. 1979 in Derry City and now lives in Belfast. John
achieved a BA (Hons) before progressing to the PGCE in Education, both from
Ulster University.

His work is highly influenced by the nature around him, particularly Sunday
morning walks along the Lagan Tow path or drinking coffee in Ormeau Park.
O'Flaherty – Lynch has also been known to go on the odd hike up Cavehill
mountain or The Mournes.

Lynch's work has been described as contemporary abstract art with bold
vibrant colours and textures. John isn't afraid of mark making and this
expressive technique is clearly evident in his work.
