'Mourne Cottage Near Spelga ' Large textile

Handcrafted felt & textile piece by Deirdre McClorey. Deirdre is a textile artist based in Rostrevor Co. Down. She uses both dry and wet felting techniques, incorporating recycled textiles and Donegal Tweed into her work alongside some hand embroidery. She incorporates bog cotton, picked in the Mournes and local Mourne fleece in her imagery of the Mournes and beyond.
