Scent story // Fintown is Michael’s favourite place to stay in Ireland, a magical place called Neadü (The Irish word for Nest) run by two people who have become good friends. On one particular trip, the owners’ daughter laid out a path of gorse petals along a wooden pathway through the trees to follow, festooning the path with golden confetti.
For this scent he focused on the coconut gorse scent as the primary, then built a playful sweetness around it with pineapple and lemongrass.
The Bearded Candle Maker are a bespoke candle studio in Co. Down, Northern Ireland – crafting their candles in the shadow of the majestic Mourne Mountains.
They focus on creating wholly original scents – handmade in small batches – that capture their personal memories and histories, so that they can be ignited once more every time the candle is lit.
