Daffodil - Irish Botanical Soy Candle
The Bearded Candle Maker are a bespoke candle studio in Co. Down, Northern Ireland – crafting their candles in the shadow of the majestic Mourne Mountains.
They focus on creating wholly original scents – handmade in small batches – that capture their personal memories and histories, so that they can be ignited once more every time the candle is lit.
Scent story // Having spent all is summer childhoods in Easkey, founder Michael has a special affinity with the place. A small village perched on the Wild Atlantic Way, Easkey is known for it’s world class surf, a great spot for lunch from Pudding Row, great pubs and the local artists. Michael, however remembers heading off by himself and loosing himself in nature. On one particualr trip through a nearby woodland. he discovered a clearing filled with daffodils. The scent was incredible, an intense narcissus unlike the gentle scent, we normally associate with the flower. The scent he delveloped, brings in rose, jasmine and even frankincense to give this candle a sensual scent journey.
