'Colours of Istanbul' a bright and vibrant Lithograph print by John Breakey RUA.

John Breakey is an artist, a lithographer and an elected member of The Royal Ulster Academy. He was Vice President of the RUA from 2003 to 2004 and an honorary life member of the Ulster Arts Club. In the Seventies John returned home to Northern Ireland and establish a Studio and Print Workshop right here in Newcastle Co. Down.

His work is full of colour and speaks of his love of living by the sea and the beautiful mountains of Mourne. He admits that he ‘paints his feelings’ his work is all about mark making and he has certainly made his mark.
